Selling My Crofton Home – How do I begin?
“Should I rent, sell or stay in my Crofton home?” That’s a frequently asked question for any potential home seller in today’s market. That’s why Step One in this series is this:
EXPLORE MY OPTIONS
A job transfer, financial hardship, expanding or shrinking family… these no longer automatically trigger a home sale for Crofton residents, or any homeowner across the region – not in a buyer’s market. Some folks do have options:
- RENT – What are the pros and cons of renting my home instead of selling it? What would my responsibilities be as a landlord?
- SELL – What is the likely selling price? How long will it take to sell?How much will it cost to sell? Should I go it alone or hire an agent?
- STAY – Should I just stay in this home until the market gets better?
No single option is right for everyone because each home and situation is unique. Free information and advice online is abundant, but it may NOT be relevant for me.
