The semi-annual Craft Fair sponsored by Crofton Town Club will be held this Saturday at the Crofton Country Club. This event has been a spring tradition for the community for many years, and residents look forward to the opportunity to see thousands of hand-made items presented by local and regional crafters.
The timing couldn’t be better, with Mother’s Day just around the corner and one-of-a-kind hand-made gifts items available to purchase. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to local charities, so “kill two birds with one stone” – contribute to your community while having a fun day.
While you’re there, if you happen to notice the aroma of barbecue chicken, follow your nose across the street to the north parking lot at the Village Green. It’s likely you’ll find boy scouts and their parents cooking thousands of chicken pieces over an open fire and boxing them for you to take home. I haven’t heard or seen any confirmation they’ll be doing this fundraiser again, but I can’t imagine they would discontinue it.
