Multiple offers are back

My buyer clients have been shocked recently to find that several desirable homes sold out from under them before they were ready to make a buying decision.
This, even more than the real estate statistics I report to you monthly, indicate that we’re experiencing a turnaround – in the Crofton area real estate market.
105 homes went under contract during August in the combined area of Crofton, Davidsonville, Gambrills and Odenton – 44% of them (47) sold in the same month they were listed. Now that’s impressive! 19 of these were in Crofton, 2 in Davidsonville, 5 in Gambrills, and the remaining 21 in Odenton.
If you’ve been waiting to put your home on the market, you might want to re-consider and list it now. It’s always hard to predict how an election will impact the economy, so we can’t know that your chances of selling faster or for more money will be better in Spring.
