It’s that “Fall Festival” time of year again in Anne Arundel County
Fall Festival at Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville… it’s a family tradition for many locals.
Kids love the fall themed activities, including pumpkin painting, a corn maze, face painting, pumpkin patch, and petting zoo.
There are pony rides, a hay ride, the pumpkin express and a new one this year – the John Deere Gator Course.
There are games, too: pumpkin bowling, chicken pick’n, and plinko.
Grownups love the excuse to visit Homestead on a beautiful fall day and many go home with mums, pansies, and other fall plants. Everyone enjoys the live music, barbeque and “Kodak moments.”
This event runs through October 28 on Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Each weekend has its own theme and special events:

- October 13 – Apple Weekend, with apple-themed games and an apple pie eating contest.
- October 20 – Octoberfest, with BEER and a demo on cooking w/ Bratwurst
