Fire Department 5k/10k Run in Crofton on Saturday

Ingress and egress for some driveways and side streets along Crofton Parkway may be restricted on Saturday morning, as our community hosts a 5k/10k run to benefit Arundel Volunteer Fire Department. 

Similar events are held in Crofton throughout the year, and residents are usually good-natured about the minor inconvenience.  New residents are often caught off guard, however, and find themselves unable to leave home for work or other commitments.

The run begins at 8 a.m. at Crofton Country Club, with registration beginning at 6:30 a.m.  Runners may park in designated areas at the club and at nearby Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church.

Registration for the run ended on September 26, so there will be no walk-up participation. Details for runners are available on the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department website.
