The Clock is Ticking for Crofton First-Time Home Buyers


Deadline Near for first-time homebuyers
When the federal government ended “Cash for Clunkers”
last week, it should have been a wake-up call for anyone who’s procrastinating on buying their first home, waiting for prices to bottom out.  Obviously there’s no guarantee that the $8,000 first-time home buyer credit will be extended beyond the deadline of November 30, 2009.


Let’s look at the time-frame for each step of buying a home:

 

BOTTOM LINE: From Day #1 to Settlement is about two months.  If you don’t get started soon, you could miss this opportunity.  And the best part is this… no one says you HAVE to spend that $8,000 on buying a home.  Take a look at these suggestions:
