Crofton Night at the Baysox is Next Week

By Guest Blogger, Donna Doyle

Get your tickets now for Crofton Night at the Baysox on June 15 because tickets purchased at the box office on that day will not help the Crofton Regional Community Center (CRCC), the event’s sponsor.  Call Janet Greenip at 410–721–0050, or email her at [email protected] for the $9 general admission tickets.  For $14 lower reserved tickets, go online at www.Baysox.com to Single Game Tickets and enter special code CROFTON (in all caps).

CRCC skateboard raffleOne of the many surprises at Crofton Night at the Baysox will be the raffle of a brand new skateboard donated by Owen’s Ski and Sport in Waugh Chapel.  The skateboard will be displayed at the CRCC table on the Baysox concourse as you enter.  Stop by and say hello to the 4–H members who will be handing out flyers and helping.

Beforoe the game, Crofton’s own Nashville recording artists, Ashley Forrest, will be performing the National Anthem, so don’t be late!  You don’t want to miss that.

By attending this night to celebrate the end of the school year and the start of vacation time, you are helping to raise a community center in Crofton as well as having a great night watching the Baysox play and being with neighbors and friends.  Even if baseball isn’t your thing, having a good time is.  Right?

The Baysox stadium has a playground with a Merry-Go-Round for children as well as many food choices and drinks for sale.  It’s an attractive stadium close to home, on Rt. 3 just south of the Rt. 3/50 interesection.

Event chairperson Janet Greenip has said “This is an exciting night for us all.  We want the community to have a good time and plan on making it a night to remember for everyone.”

One other thing… everyone is urged to wear their school colors to the game.
